How do you measure a year?

Yeah...title's lame, I know, but I saw RENT again last night with sabrielrose so it's all stuck in my head now.

Right.  So.  I didn't do too badly on the goals I set myelf for this year.  I did lose some weight, I did do some Wicca study, I got some writing done (not as much as I'd've liked), and as icing on the cake, I know I've really improved in self-image and such over the course of this year.  So a good year overall, right?

I think one reason I did so well with the goals is because they were broad and achievable.  So here we go.

1.  Get a different job - not necessarily outside the company, but NOT on the phones.
2.  Write at least 10 pages per month on Wyrdborn.  (This is specific solely to that novel and any pages written on anything else such as fanfic do not count.)
3.  Lose that last 10 pounds so I can fit back in my size 6 and 8 stuff.
4.  Continue with my studies in Wicca.
5.  Apply to go back for my MFA in Creative Writing, starting in the fall.
6.  Keep on with the updating of my site.

Those are the important ones, I think.

Tonight should be fun; it'll be me, sabrielrose, calhin, and herod_the_nut.  There is much food and a ton of liquor.  Rock!

goals, new year's
