Last night was good.
sabrielrose,
calhin,
shoecollar and I watched the second half of King Arthur. I enjoyed it, but, as Sam said, "Dear Jerry Bruckheimer, stop making pseudo-historical epics. Love, us."
Then we watched a few episodes of Season 1 of The Sopranos with
spreadnparanoia, and I assembled a hodge-podge Ostara ritual composed of bits and pieces from The Spiral Dance and D.J. Conway's Celtic Magic, plus a bit from Raymond Buckland's Wicca for One. I'm pretty happy with the result; I took what I enjoyed from each one and assembled it into something that worked together as a coherent whole and suited my style. I also paged through several of my Wicca books and determined that I need to get back into the habit of regularly studying the many things I have that I've not yet gone over. To that end, I bought some notebooks today so I can take notes as I read on things I find interesting, passages I will want to remember or use later, and things I agree or disagree with.
I also have a new project, partially inspired by
dalbino83's filter for studying The Spiral Dance. It is known as
magickmuse. Those of you who are interested in that sort of stuff, add away and you will be added in return so as to read more private entries. Those of you who aren't, well, I really don't care =p
Yeah. I'm off to make Magick Muse be pretty, and then to do some studying. I miss school.
