(no subject)
OK, so, the snow is continuing to pour down to a ridiculous degree. By my estimate, at 1:30 pm we had a good 6-7 fresh inches of snow (on top of the leftovers from the last big storm, January 5). This morning I was out tromping around in it with shoecollar, who very kindly went with me, to Bastards & Assholes Realty that I might return my temporary parking tag (did I rant about that? So I've been wrangling with B&A all year to tow the fucking assholes who park in/behind my spot and in the front and in the driveways because they're fucktards. What do they decide to do the day after I get my rental? Actually tow cars that don't have parking tags. I was so ungodly pissed.)
By DCP time I think we had maybe 10 or 11 inches. I seriously thought about skipping game; I just wasn't in a LARP mood and the weather was awful, but I eventually ended up going (and freaked out everyone because my punkass character who usually shows up in kneehigh laced boots, a short skirt, neon pink hair [a wig] and a vest as her entire costume arrived in a business suit). Some interesting stuff happened including rampant player death (or so I hear); Chris, Sam and I took off around 8:30. I'd like to point out that in my 4 years of DCP, this is the only time I have ever not been to the full stretch of a game (prior to tonight I have never missed one, arrived late or left early.)
And word is we get ANOTHER 6 inches tonight. Christ Jesus. At least I have everything I need and can stay tucked away inside my nice warm apartment playing video games and such.
My mommy is coming to town next weekend! She and I will go shopping, and then to Lawry's with shoecollar, calhin, and sabrielrose! Mmmmm. Happy Meglet.
Anyway, I'm godawfully tired. Bed now.
