Yeah, so. I don't like the idea of New Year's Resolutions. I think that's a dumb word to apply to it. New Year's Goals would be a better one. Resolution sounds like
a) the final plot point of a movie, book, or RPG;
b) some document written entirely in legalese passed by a legislative body; or
c) something you say but never intend to actually do.
So, my goals for next year....
~*~
1) Be nicer to people. Even if they're hurting me or pissing me off.
2) Finish two or more guides for my site, not counting the FF9 one I'm currently typing up.
3) Get my lazy ass in gear and complete my notes on Tarot, runes, and oghams
4) Procrastinate less. (Read: finish at least one paper/project ahead of time winter quarter. Two spring quarter. Three next fall. ^.^)
5) Write that set of rituals I thought of last spring, and have never quite gotten round to
6) Finish at least one of my multitudinous writing projects
7) Resolve that big issue that keeps bothering me....the one that I keep going in circles with because I don't like the only answer I've come up with
8) Get no single grade lower than a B-, no quarter grade lower than a B, and no more than one B per quarter.
~*~
Well, that ought to keep me sufficiently busy, ne?
In other news, I'm getting real close to the end of FF10. I'm at that point when you finish up all the nifty sidequests and stuff. I have to finish the Temple I'm in, find the sixth one, and then unlock that other one...Baaj Temple I think it's called. Seven Aeons, w00t. *chuckle* Which will be handy, since I tend to sacrifice them willy-nilly in boss battles. That's my uber-cheesy strategy. Build all my Aeons up to Overdrive and summon them, one after another, with Bahamut as Grand Summon so I get to use his Overdrive twice. So nifty.
Yeah....I'm done babbling now, I think.
