Hmmm.
Busy day.
Went to the beach today, and appear to have avoided sunburn. The water was nice, except full of seaweed, which felt supremely gross when it twined around every available limb. Then Mom and I went to lunch at the Chatterbox, which I paid for because she has paid for much stuff for me this week. We had REAL cherry Cokes, the kind with cherry syrup in regular Coke. Mmmmmm. We walked back and picked up some caramel popcorn, because it's a tradition. Along the way, we stopped by the shop that advertises palm reading. We were highly entertained, and it was eerily accurate about some things. Ideally it will be accurate about others :) Hehe.
My old sunburn has progressed to the almost-painfully-itchy stage. ugh.
So we came back and then Mom & Dad took off for Atlantic City, while I went up on the boardwalk for Family Night with everyone else. Liam was very very sleepy the whole way, and Amy was none too happy when Kevin and Alison decreed that it was time to go home, but the rest of us had a fairly good time. I picked up a pale-pink baby tee with "Ocean City" across teh front, so now I have an OCNJ shirt, and I am happy. All that is currently missing from thsi trip is minigolf! Since I'm a bit old for the waterpark now.
I can't believe our week at the beach is almost up. In another two days I'll be back in MD, and then I'll be back in Chicago. Eeep! I do miss my little kitten. So it will be nice to see him, and my friends in Chicago, again. And then of course I have two visits to look forward to in August, so yay.
It's a pity I'll be far away from my altar and tools on Sunday. Combined Esbat/Sabbats are wonderful. *sulk*
