I'm a crush-slut, or something. o.O
Mary wrote me back today, she said the electric bill from August was hella high and she doesn't have back my security deposit money yet but she will. More on that eventually I suppose. *shrug*
So there appear to be plans in the works for Belmont/Shiroi Hana and Too Much Light this weekend, specifically tomorrow, which is grand. I'm a big fan. Especially if it's no longer rainy tomorrow!
Well, my hour spent memorizing hiragana last night apparently paid off--I was kicking ass on the computer flashcard game, except that I occasionally forget "ke" and for some reason I have become convinced that the hiragana for "sa" means "ka," although I know perfectly well what the hiragana for "ka" is and don't confuse it with others. Also, the "me" and "nu" hiragana are ridiculously fucking similar. (I think that's right anyway, I just started doing the m ones today). I can recognize them when I see them at least; I doubt that if you commanded me to write, say, "katakana" in hiragana that I could accomplish the task. *shrug* I'm supposed to learn the last few of the first set of hiragana this weekend, and stuff, in addition to some light reading for Modern Ireland and some very light Chaucer reading, and a wee tad bit of Islamic Civ that requires me to drag my lazy ass to the library. I am displeased. Ah well. Perhaps I'll do all that tonight if Dana's gaming. I wonder if anybody feels like hanging out tonight?
*kweh* I had lunch, but I want something to eat. Note to self: stop eating at Norris! Too bloody expensive. I'll just have to start making sandwiches in the morning or something. Then I think I will play FF9 or perhaps FFTA, if Dana gets home before I manage to lay claim to the PS2 in the common room. Not that I couldn't set up my own, brand spanking new PS2 in here. But it's the company that I appreciate, and all of that.
*yawn* For now I speak to the Wizard and to Sam, and then soon food. Perhaps blueberries or something?
Oh yeah! Before I forget, two amazing quotes from my Modern Ireland professor:
"So Cuchulainn and his wife make a promise to each other to 'stay pure,' and then he goes and screws everything in sight."
There was another one, but I've forgotten it. Perhaps the Pooka remembers. I'll ask him eventually. Blarg! Anyway, Heyck rules.
