Was listening to "Duck and Run" and this popped into my head. Sums me up nicely just now.

I will not be what you tell me to be
I cannot be what you want me to be
If that's not good enough for you
Then you'll just have to leave
Because I worked too hard to get here
And I'm not letting you break me down
So if you can't accept who I am
Then get the hell out of here
I won't be what you tell me to be
I can't be what you want me to be
So I guess there's nothing more to say.
