my brain is goo.
I took yesterday off from NaNo entirely - I took yesterday off from everything entirely. That turned out to be a good decision; today, despite the hellish headache that showed up a day late from the weather change, I did 2300 words and broke 25K quite solidly. NaNo's stats have me hitting 50K on the 25th, which is just in time to validate. I am excited.
I also have edited 9 chapters of Every Light Casts A Shadow, which only leaves me 25 and an epilogue to go. (The editing is going fairly quickly since I'm only doing light/typo work, thankfully.) I definitely found an instance where I said Red Wings and meant Dragon Knights. That would've been hella embarrassing. (I can just SEE
seventhe's face if I had given her that...)
In other news, my experience of wedding planning thus far looks like this:
1. Realize I have no idea what I'm doing.
2. Buy a copy of Chicago Style Weddings.
3. Realize even more how much I have no idea what I'm doing
4. Throw up my hands and make pathetic whimpering noises in
celeloriel's direction
5. Read the price tags and have to definitely not throw up on the train.
...it is totally an exciting adventure. Totally. Really. (I will believe this when my brain is less word-gooey.)
