Holy shit, you guys. I can't even. This fic is amazing. There are perfect little bits of Celes's characterization in here, and so many incredibly good sharp pointed little lines. Just. Go read it. GO.
Dragon Age 2
Lacrimosa, by loquaciousquark. Author's summary: This is how it ends: quietly, rain-soaked, and without glory. Fenris/Hawke. Complete. Warning for character death.
I was in tears through this entire fic. It's brutal and perfect and so exactly the right pitch for each of the companions, and it hurts in the very best way. (Really I have yet to read anything I didn't love from this author, and I suspect that when I work through my Instapaper backlog of Stuff to Read, there are going to be a lot more recs with this name attached.)
