Highlights of my weekend:
Last night Zelda was being The Most Helpful Kitty For Sleeping. She starts off pushing her paws into the hollow of my throat. Then she sticks her paw in my mouth. Then she sticks her NOSE in my mouth. Then she rubs her face on my nose (and tooth-scrapes me, which is just a thing--her lips don't close all the way so face-rubs equal teeth.) Then she sticks her nose in my ear to purr vehemently. And between her, Ganon, and the paladin, I could not MOVE.
Passed out on the couch for an hour yesterday; couldn't fall asleep until 3 am. I woke up today, managed some Dragon Age, finished a story, and then managed to pass out on the couch AGAIN for two hours. Ffffffff.
Lesson of the weekend: if Paladin is doing engineering homework, set timers for any lengthy cooking processes. o_o; We sort of baked the sweet potatoes for two hours instead of one because I was asleep and he was buried in maths. *headdesk* They were just delightfully soft, though, and went well with our steaks (with mushrooms and onions) and sugar snap peas. And we have leftovers of everything but the sweet potatoes.
Also paladin made a batch-and-a-half of chili. The half-batch is seasoned to my liking; the full batch is seasoned to his. Lunch this week, nom. :) I need to get cornbread tomorrow, though.
Also I managed my DOINK! signup, and I am pretty pleased with the prompts I came up with--I think they're significantly better than my usual. Also fairly off the beaten path, for me.
Yeah, that's about it for my weekend. Sleep, food, and video games. I'm hoping these allergies or this cold or whatever the hell (sleeping patterns point to cold, but I'm crossing my fingers) gets the message and gets out, but.
I guess I'll try to do some words.
