I fell into a video game. AKA February goals roundup.
No, actually, I totally did.
So as of when I had last updated, last Monday, I was patiently working on Crisis Core and Suikoden II. So then I thought, hey, Dragon Age 2 is about to come out, I should get on finishing Origins which I never did.
...so that took care of my entire weekend.
The reaction post for that is happening tomorrow, but in the meantime, it's time to go over the February goals!
I did an absolutely shit job of sticking to my goals last month. I mean, appallingly bad. My excuse is that I went on vacation and then was sick and that ate an entire 10 days out of a 28-day month. That is my story and I am sticking to it.
Writing Goals
--10K words.
--Chapter 5 of "A Summoner's Faith"
--Finish at least one of the add-in scenes from the '09 novel.
--At least 3 Kiss Battle fics.
--Rough draft of my
newgameplus fic
--2K on Every Light Casts A Shadow.
lolololololol. Okay. I did write three Kiss Battle fics, and I liked them. I wrote a total of 6,557 words in February. I did not write a single word on any of the five specific projects.
FAIL.
Okay, moving on.
Other Goals
I didn't work out at all, unless the skiing counts (it does, right?) but I do not think I drank a single soda in the entire month of February. It was all tea, water, and juice. ....Granted I am now back to drinking iced tea which means oodles of sugar, but it's at least real sugar. I actually drank a soda today and it was gross. This is...sort of sad but also good?
I have an extra paycheck because of how our pay schedule works out, so. After laying aside a portion of savings for my eventual iMac purchase, enough to buy an iPad 2 when they go on sale, and enough to pay my tuition for French for next semester (this totals $1200) I still had money left over to go to paying down my debts! Yay! And I managed to do vacation without credit cards at all. GO ME.
Games-wise, I beat Ash and Dragon Age: Origins, bringing me up to 4 games beaten this year. I also purchased Radiant Historia, bringing my purchase total also up to 4. Success!
Kain has been nibbling at my brain more and more lately, so I have hopes of getting some serious work done in March.
