this is possibly a really stupid MacOS question.
So, Smart Folders.

Here is what I want to do. I want to have a folder that has links to all my works-in-progress, while those files themselves are stored in their Properly Organized Folders on my computer. I am pretty sure Smart Folders does not actually do this. In investigating this, it seems that aliases on MacOS are equivalent to shortcuts on Windows.
....so am I to assume from this that the only really good way to do what I want to do is to make a folder (somewhere) called Works in Progress and fill it with aliases?
