At least Green Bay walked the hell out of Buffalo (not like that takes much, these days.)
And as far as the Redskins, I suppose there's very little shame in an OT loss to the team that beat the Colts last week....except that you ALMOST HAD THEM, guys. :( :(
Oh well. If the Dolts keep it up (...I can't believe I'm rooting for the fucking Colts), the Skins will still be on top of the NFC East.
And I really can't argue with any Week 2 that ends with Dallas winless.
In other less sports-y news, I completed the new Professor Layton game on Friday night. It seemed like the puzzles suited my mental style a lot better, and apart from that one fucking car puzzle I spent an hour and a half on, I enjoyed it and solved the puzzles pretty fast. Even the sliding block puzzles (with the exception of that one in the Extras) were pretty good!
That being done, I handed the DS over to the paladin, and picked up Lunar: Silver Star Harmony again.
Okay, look. I loved the PSX remake of LUNAR. And if the voice actors in this one didn't make me fucking insane I'd probably love this one more. But. But. JESSICA IS NOT A GODDAMNED VALLEY GIRL. YOU ARE DOING IT 100% WRONG. Nall's new voice is terrible, Luna grates on me, and WHY ARE ALEX'S EYES BLUE IN THE SPRITES. His eyes are GREEN. The PSX version makes a big deal of this. WHY ARE YOU DOING IT SO WRONG. Also I hate Kyle's new voice. Ghaleon is, at least, still suitably WTF, but. But. Why have you tried to devalue Jessica's badassery? So disappointed.
and now I am going to go lie back down with a heating pad, and maybe work on Lunar a little bit more.
