Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is on TV... I can't stand the Harry Potter movies, but I haven' t seen this one since it first came out, so I'm watching it. Alastor Moody's eye makes me cringe. And its whirring sound makes me wonder if he's secretly a cyborg.
But anyway, it reminded me of something I realized a few years ago.
The twins are the only Weasleys with Liverpool accents.
I have a theory that they didn't display any magical traits when they were babies, so Molly and Arthur shipped them off to live with Ringo Starr (who, as you know, is the most powerful wizard of all time. He could destroy Dumbledore, Voldemort, Gandalf, and Chuck Norris in one fell swoop). Ringo raised them in Liverpool, and unlocked their magic skillz through patient training and electroshock therapy. When Fred retaliated by turning Ringo into a puffskein at the age of four, Ringo returned him to the Weasleys. A week later George pooped in Ringo's shoe so he got kicked out too.
And that is why Fred and George Weasley have Liverpool accents.
The end.
I should go do something productive.
