google language is terrible for this. it doesn't know a ton of japanese words or conjugations, apparently.
It says:

Hello! Today was good. I went to university, because I had english class and japanese class. I use guidetojapanese.org. it's good! I study it. Now I am listening to demoscene music. I watch Lucky Star, because Hatsune Miku sang the theme song on youtube. Miku is cute! Lucky Star is a little interesting and cute. But, it is a little strange. I like to watch 'Ranma 1/2' and 'bokusatsu tenshi dokurachan' and 'higurashi no naku koro ni' and 'oruchuban ebichu' and 'serial experiments: lain' and 'nadesico'. Anime is good!
I am going to the store to buy drinks.
See ya!

well, I was using the casual form, which would end in da if I am applying it correctly. for past tense, the book says to us te form but replace the "te" part with "da" for verbs. So, like, instead of nomu -> nonde, nomu -> nonda.

But, i just looked in the book again, and I missed that once again, 行く is an exception, and you're right. Thanks!

just replying to myself to correct it. it's use the てform of the verb, and change the て to た。 The example was 飲み -> 飲んだ。 でも、 行く -> 行った。
