The green lights are blue! #2

Feb 26, 2008 09:32

I had meant to elaborate. Now, I am in no way color blind or anything... but the other night I had decided that the green lights where really blue. Not sure why exactly... I think I was tired, I managed to make quite the fuss over it until I decided that the green lights where truly green and that I was being silly.

I am not sure why, but I've been having some weird color association issues. If a person is wearing a blue sweater I can see that the sweater is blue... but when I do not have them in view... I will remember red.

Strange because this is all very new. I don't think I hit my head... and I am pretty sure I am not high... LOL.

Maybe it all happened when I had come to the startling realization that my once blue eyes are now green. Not that green eyes are bad, I rather like mine. But I do recall having blue eyes as a kid. My parents have blue eyes... a brother of mine has blue eyes... but the other brother has brown... and I have green. WTF? I look a LOT like a dad/mom combination so I am pretty sure the milk man and my mom didn't have a fling.

Though then again... when my brown eyed brother tans everyone thinks he is hispanic. Though of course my mom when she tans doesn't look hispanic but native american. Though to be honest, I think both cases are due to the fact we are part native american... and not because my mom likes hispanic milk men. When *I* tan... well I generally don't tan, I just freckle. My face, shoulders, and arms are just covered in them. (thanks a lot Irish blood!!).

Speaking of freckles. I knew that I had freckles as a kid, but somehow got it into my mind that the freckles on my face had all gone away. Imagine my surprise when I realized I still had freckles on my face! Look at my piercing picture from below. No thats not pimples or chicken pox. I have freckles!

I wonder how many other delusions I've had about myself.

OH! And imagine my surprise when I found myself sleeping on my new piercings. Odd because the helix piercing in the other ear I couldn't sleep on for like a month.
