Also, I tried using the promo code today and in the previous round to try receive a skip, but when I posted, it remained as the HTML code and doesn't work. I'm not sure what it is or whether I'm just doing something wrong...

VERY odd... I wonder if it's an LJ thing because I KNOW the codes work.... people are using them...

Maybe LJ is being buggy?

I've seen it being posted on comms too and I was really confused as to why mine didn't work!
Maybe it's just me ;)
