(no subject)
Hello all....
so let's see here - mike & i moved last weekend, we are still living amongst boxes & strewn clothes on the floor - it sucks, but the house is awesome & think we'll have it all knocked out by the end of this weekend. the house is a little....damp....which kind of sucks but mike ordered a dehumidifier.
we opened a joint account this week. for household bills. big stuff. weird, but good.
i just agreed to working an extra day a week for the next 2 months. i'm very happy about the extra income, not so thrilled about working 10-6 on saturdays but what the hell...
i just signed up for a class for the second summer session at rhode island college. i'm nervous as hell. i clicked submit and there it was. not sure when i have to pay for it, but oh well.
haven't run in a week - i seriously think something is wrong with my knee. i don't want to go to the doctor because i don't want to know what it is. so i'm just not running. and getting chubby while i'm at it.
our new neighborhood is....different. i went into the liquor store on my walk home (after missing my bus, i might add) and the owner was yelling at this woman "GET OUT!!! YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED IN HERE!!!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO ACT!!!!" i was like "oh shit, what have we gotten ourselves into..." but all in all it's a good neighborhood. and a cheap liquor store. years ago it used to be not-so-good and there are still some remnants of that.
funny story - when i was waiting for the bus yesterday morning i looked down and someone had written on the sidewalk: "what kind of jerk would order dominos pizza?". i couldn't help but laugh. and wonder....really, what kind of jerk WOULD order dominos pizza???
and that is about all i got. off to unpack some more boxes with nowhere to put the contents.
