So, I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.... 12 hours ago.... and I"m drained....
I actually found myself practically hyperventilating at certain points, and choking back tears at others, all the while being mixed with my yelling 'yes!' loudly in my apt for no one to hear...
I've waited how long for this book? It finally came, I read it, and it was AMAZING!!
Absolutely everything I wanted it to be. And while I wish it could have been 1000 pages and told every little bit of detail about the lives of those who lived in the end (see?? see how i didn't put any names?!?!?!?) 750 pages was sufficient.
Though, i have to admit, I'm not really sure what to do with myself now... I get it, it all makes sense, there aren't really any questions... (well, I have one........... and i don't think it's a spoiler.... but just in case, if you don't wanna know JUMP DOWN -----
Voldemorts wand- after he failed to kill Harry at Godrics Hollow, who went back and got his wand that Wormtail had in book 4? I would assume that if Hagrid went to get Harry and saw Voldemorts want lying on the ground, he might think it something important to bring to Dumbledore... I guess I can just assume that WOrmtail got there right after looking for VOldemort, saw he was gone, and took the wand.... but I wonder then, why he didn't use it himself at some point? Ok, I'm rambling... but seriously! They tell you why Dumbledore had James' cloak, coudln't I find out how Voldemorts wand got from Godrics Hollow to Wormtail?? ----
OK! Enough venting.... when Erica has finished the book, I'm sure she and I will discuss my lingering question.
All in all- best book. BEST BOOK!
And what I always wanted to happen, HAPPENED!!! Not a big plot point or anything, but there's a line that made me sit up and scream 'YES!!!!!!' and i'll post it when I"m sure my girls are done reading! (cause I really always wondered why these wizards never swore more... I mean, someone was always trying to kill them or their families.... if I were them I think I would have been swearing all the time!)
