I'm not dead.
Haven't updated in a while. I just noticed it a few days ago. It's not that things have been hectic, it's just been a combination of heat laziness and lack of update worthy information. I'm mainly writing tonight because I'm having a bought of insomnia, and we just had a kick-ass thunderstorm here.
There was more lightning in the clouds than I've seen in a long, long time. I managed to take some video with my digital camera. The quality of the video sucks, but I hope I can wrestle some good stills out of it. (Not that the stills will be any better. The camera barely functions as a camera, nevermind a video recorder.....)
And I must share this with the world. I think Telca added this link in her own Livejournal, but it's just too good to ignore!

It's just so damned cute. I imagine it was inspired by Pixar's animation, and the theme song is from Toy Story (Randy Newman - If I didn't Have You) Go see it!
On another note, my folks are going to see John Pinette at the Just For Laughs Festival this coming Wednesday. I gave them strict orders to buy me whatever DVDs they find there. John is my favorite comic. The first time I saw him perform on TV, I laughed so hard I nearly peed the couch. Telca had the same reaction. I wish I could have gone, but the tickets sold out so fast, and the only ones left were at a weird time on a day that I wouldn't have been able to get to Montreal. Still, hopefully my mother will get a few photos once the act is finished.
