good weekend, nothing special but Dead space is an awesome creepy game!

this morning though i woke up with a tight throat and a stuffy nose and headache...
yup that could i thought was comming on arrived for sure this morning...*fun*

got home, picked up steven and ruby then dropped off steven, took ruby to petco, to try on a very cute pink collar with skulls, but the width i would have liked was a little too big, and the width that would fit was too narrow...oh well...

then we whent to the park, it is simply gorgeous out there!
did abotu 1 1/2 miles but my head was kinda hurting.

while there i met a very cute golden puppy with a clueless mommy and extreemly bad leash manners.
theres only one thing worse than seeing a dog that bad on leash, is seeing a young pup that bad on leash with a fucking CHOKE CHAIN!
as a trainer i will tell any potential dog owners this...choke chains are OUTDATED , they are useless and DANGEROUS and about 99.8% of poeple using them have no clue how.
this pup was pulling on the choke chain untill she couldnt breathe, then stopping for a second to hack up half a lung only to start pulling again.
i offered my PROFESSIONAL advice but the owner kept insisting its "because shes excited" and "the trainer said" (and trainer still using the choke chain is either old school 20 yrs ago with no updated training, or isnt a real trainer, choke chains are DANGEROUS even in professional hands, a prong collar is better for god sake!)  and "when she realizes she cant breat when she pulls shell stop" yet aparently shes had the puppy since its 8 weeks old and its STILL pulling on the choke chain...*grumbles*
so i put ruby, whos now half close to biting the very boisterous and unsocilized puppy currently trying to roll her over...in a sit stay and we stood still while she passed on and even after theyd passed us and the dog was no longer interested very inapropriatly trying to "say hello" to ruby (this pup has obviously had no doggy socilization either!) she was still all over the place, refusing to walk to heel and half draging the owner around, even to the point she was pulling so had she was actually walking on only he rback legs, only to stop and hack up a lung...then the thing that pissed me off the most was seeing the owner lifting the 6 month old pups front feet off the ground via the choke chain and dragging her to the other side...

GAH!
i wanted to just take the fracking leash and SHOW her how to walk the damned dog properly.
i hate people who think they have a clue and refuse to take a professional insight, she was obviously not having fun, the dog was obviously not caring about the fact she had a chain burried into her throat...and if it doest stop the dog will have a collapsed trechea by the time its 2 yrs old!

so yeah at that point i knelt down and gave ruby some luvins for being veyr good and being such a great dog to train (she was walking loose leash heal within a week of her comming to me)

then we came home where i let all the dogs out and sat outside for about an hour and just let them enjoy the gorgeous weather.  its perfect wowie weather because vixie AND dodger (who usually doesnt like being outside) were running round and playing in the leaves like nutz lol.  there sooo cute!  right now there all crashed asleep...love mine puppers!

and yeah, time for more dayquill and some lunch...
