LOL! To be fair Tara couldn't be dressed more like an 80s hooker at this point.

Did the woman actually have hooves when we first saw her or did I imagine that?

I have to admit I knew it was Rene from the book, (Sam being a suspect made me cross the line), but it was handled pretty well.

Really excited about next week. Jessica! Murderer! Weirdo nude woman! More Sam slash!

Oh I thought she looked fabulous in the dress but maybe not the look she should be going for! ;-)

I have no idea what's going to take its place. I may just have to rewatch it muttering "sam, ssssam, samsamsam" like a crazy for months.

This show should not be this good! It should be trash, but it's SO GOOD. ARGH.

It still amazes me. Hee!

What do you think is going on with Ensign Ro and that huuuuuge house and her weird hog and poor Tara?

I'm so sad that it's him, but less so for having figured it out - or at least narrowed it down (I finally eliminated Hoyt when I saw the guy's build and hands, and then it pretty much had to be Rene) - by the time it was revealed.

I do feel sorry for Bill. If an ordinary guy reacted that way to coming home and finding his girlfriend making out with the guy he asked to protect her, it'd be seen as an understandable overreaction, even if he had been gone a while.

I'm glad they're locking Jason up 'cause the next murder should clear him pretty decisively.

I think it's got to be Sookie he goes for. There are no other 'fangbanging' girls left and it's the finale!

I just hope the evidence to free Jason isn't that the psychic sister of the accused has read some guys mind.

Yeah, I mean the list of decent suspects wasn't high but I'm glad there are more interesting things going on in the series.

I dunno, I mean I don't think it's normal at all for a guy to ask to ask someone to 'protect' his girlfriend while he's away. Kinda demeaning really.

I wonder how Sookie will take to Jessica. *blinks* :-)

The rescinded invitation was interesting. How much of that reaction was supernatural and how much was his southern manners?

Ah but he was also the reason she was there in the first place and she was pissed at him for that too.

Personally I think she's been all over the place lately and hard to like. It was only this week, with her and Sam, that I got to see her relax and not act like a total bitch.

The second time was because Eric had demanded that Bill take her to help him though, yeah?

I think Sam and Sookie are really cute together, but yeah. I -love- that we can see that while Sam's a nice guy and Tara really needs a guy like him, she's coming over all wrong and it's fucking things up. Very nicely drawn characters, all.

Sam was great in this ep, much more like the 'good guy' Sam from the books.

I dont blam Bill for the way he acted, Sookie was a bit of a bitch.

Jessica was great. And i'm all for her murdering her parents!

Have you read book 2? Ensign Ro is playing one of those characters, but i wont spoil you unless you want me to.

This season has been fairly acurate to the plot of book 1, but the characters are much more awsome in the book (with the exception of Lafyette, who only plays a small roll in the book and is much better in the show)

They seem to be setting up at least two elements from book 2 for next season, so i dare say that plot will be similar. Based on what i've seen though i'm expecting bigger liberties will be taken with some characters stroylines.

I can send you the books in PDF format if you're impatient. Just leave me your email address.

I've been loaned the first 2 books. Now that I'm basically off for the week, and there's only the one episode to go, I think I'm going to try to get through them. :-)

Is Jessica in the books or is she new?
