As you can see, there's sheetrock under sheetrock, and the newer sheetrock was done around the cabinets. We ripped that center piece down already, and you can see the progression of paint from over the years. There's tan, brown, blue, mauve, green, gray, and white. And the red, which is only in certain sections and seems to have been an afterthought.
I am SO glad we're redoing it. SO SO glad. Until then, however, I'm kind of lost without being able to get my cups and plates from the old usual place... And this once again proves that my house is one big construction zone, hence the name House of Chaos.
