Albus Dumbledore silenced the collected staff assembled outside the chambers of Severus Snape, armed with a birthday arsenal as if created by Lockhart himself. He motioned to the door and said, “Severus is alone this evening, and I thank you all for wanting to celebrate our colleague on his birthday.” Raising his wand he whispered "On the count of three," “Alohomora” 1... 2... 3...
“Happy Birthday....”
The staff halted upon finding their potion master precariously dangling from a swing suspended from the dungeon ceiling.
Unzipping his leather mask, he announced “I’m occupied at the moment, but I thank you”.
