We found a giant green market umbrella on the side of the highway today, and best yet, It actually works!
Pity it's 95 degrees with icky humidity in my neck of the woods so I don't have the enthusiasm to hook it up right now. I don't handle humidity well at all, it turns me into a limp flower, like Bob Dole without his viagra.
Have been very good about staying focused with everything that needs to be handled here and all that is occurring, and even put in an app at the country club up the street from my home. Yes, y'all read correctly, a country club that is located in the middle of the ghetto. It's the charms of many that make Illadelph-i-a what it is, but apparently not enough to host the olympics, oh well. I again blame the humidity.
But at least somethings, unlike myself, thrive well :)
Ye ole Tomato patch with the pink hibiscus
Ripen damn you!!!!!!!!!!
Rogue potatoes that I have mentioned; they have spread everywhere.
This is odd...as the seeds i had planted were poppies...yet a squash plant (obviously) has grown instead. I know I shouldn't be this way, but HAHA...my tomatoes are doing better than my next door neighbor's who you can see through the fence line :)
Red Hibiscus that we grew from a cutting
Red Texas Hibiscus grown from seed...we are so excited as this bud willl be it's first bloom
Mint from Paul. The lefy is general everyday mint, the right is apple mint.
Even the houseplants are very happy :)
The kittens I found are surprisingly still alive. They are doing so well that I went ahead and named them : Augstus McCrae & Woodrow Call, though those are still a little tenitive, as D refused any of them to be named Buffalo Hump as I originally wanted.
