Pixel Trade TPBM Alien Edition

Mar 22, 2011 23:07

I am insanely excited about TPBM.  I have two neighborhoods that only have aliens.  The one I put these sims in is a build-a-neighborhood with the rules modified to fit my storyline better.  My pixel trade neighborhood is also only aliens, so I am really excited about this.  I can't wait until Thursday, when I'll have the time to put all the Sims 2 sims in the collection post into my game.

For
sneebsey :
TPBM will create an elder alien, a retired botanist who was exiled from her home planet for some reason. She is to be worn, yet still pretty, and to have a skin with a pattern on the face and/or body.

Note: The CC version is missing her outfit.  I apparently put it in the wrong folder in my downloads, and I can't open Body Shop without taking out half of my cc.  I'll probably be loading my game on Thursday, if anyone wants what she's wearing.
 For astro_cake:
TPBM will create a very professional alien. Business suits and all that jazz. He or she will have vivid green eyes. He or she loves children, but would rather adopt than have kids of their own.

I also made a bonus sim kid, because I wanted to be able to plop them into my alien neighborhood with them ready for their intended storyline.  She's just a  random mixing together of a couple of my other alien sims, but she turned out cute.  She's only available without CC, because I packaged her intending to just preserve her for myself.

I had spent most of that morning ranting about how my camera hack sucks, so I didn't take any posed pictures, but I do have a couple pictures from playing their lot.

I wanted to be able to put them in directly instead of letting them sit in my saved sims folder until I could think of a good way to work them in, so they are all living on the same lot.  The general idea of the neighborhood is that it is an island set up by a major universe-spanning corporation as a small alien colony on earth.  Due to limited space no one can live alone.  A significant number of the spots on the island are reserved for refugees and academics, but there is in general limited space.

My thinking was that Green-Eyes hadn't gotten as far into the adoption process as he had been expecting, so he had to take on a roommate.  Because he's wealthy enough (He works for the corporation, but I haven't decided on the specific title) to afford his own lot and maybe too nice for his own good, he volunteers to take in an elderly woman that was forced to flee her country without taking the time to meet her.  Once they start living together, it is obvious she hates him and the company he works for (I'm thinking eco-terrorism as to why she left her planet, because she spends a lot of her time making the angry gesture at me).  He adopts a child from her planet, which I picture as looking kind of like in Avatar, as a means of delaying his almost inevitable murder.

Nice first conversation to have with your adoptive daughter.

Dollhouse obsession!

Financial counseling obsession!

Lemonade obsession!

(There was also gardening obsession, but my camera hack was only wanting to take pictures of the top of The Botanist's head.  There was a lot of rage and saving and re-entering the lot.  Please, pretend there are pictures of a lovely greenhouse with plant clutter carefully arranged to look as though Green-Eyes was forced to quickly transport them from the space ship, while The Botanist busily directed him and threatened his life if he dropped one of her plants.)

Face sucking obsession!

I apparently was not paying close enough attention to zodiac compatibility when I was getting them ready.  Green-Eyes is a family sim, and The Botanist was the first person of legal age he saw and had some bolts with.  I was intending on leaving him single because he could not find the robotic-zombie-that-doesn't-wear-underwear of his dreams.

(Suck Face makes me squee.  I would be so happy if my sims started autonomously casually romantically sucking face.)

In my storyline, she would be dropping him on purpose immediately after this picture was taken.

That couch looks majorly uncomfortable.

Their entire courtship took place in one night. I have sims I intend to get together that take longer than this.  The day before I took this picture I finally caved and let Harry and Ron get married.  I'm starting to suspect my sims have another god that is sneakily micromanaging behind my back (and is trying to tell me something about their shipping preferences).
