it's lyrics from a Chokehold song. it was written about the O.J. Simpson trial in the 90's but I was listening to the song and it pretty much pertains to the Shiavo case as well

We make history out of examples. Shiavo was an example, therefore she became an important milestone is our social policy disputes...and the world is "burning" all the time, whether during peace or in drama.

By "Burning" I meant there are deadly political diputes worldwide no matter what, not that the earth and all life is going in the shitter...well, not yet anyway. I dunno if that's what you meant, but meh.

it basically means we care as a nation for stupid cases like the Shiavo one while the rest of the world is in shambles. look at Sudan, Chechnya, and countless other places, who gives a fuck about this lady
