Wow. Please post. All I really know are these postcards you sometimes put up on livejournal.

I comment every time, just so you'll know I read them.

I'm sorry that you wanted the the military to be something, and now it didn't happen. Even if it was your choice to come home, I'm sure it's bad.

I've always felt like kind of an interloper in your life. Even back at CHCA when I got to see you all the time, and talk to you, I never felt I had enough to say, or enough of a connection. I didn't see you elsewhere, I didn't call you. What would I say if I did? I had no idea.

Now, via the magic of open comments and internet sites, I have some almost connection, years later. But whenever something significant sounds like it is happening in your life, I am reminded of how small that connection is, and that I haven't done anything to widen it. What would I say if I did? I have no idea.

I care. I hope you're alright. I don't really know how to make my concern known. Or if it matters to you.
