Permission to come aboard
Hey all.
It's official. I am now a member of the United States Navy. I signed my enlistment documents the other day and am now a Navy Hospital Corpsman. I'm lucky in that I'll be able to start bootcamp as an E-3, or Seaman, as well. While I am still pursuing a position as an officer, I decided to join up anyway incase it falls through. If it does, I'll still have this to fall back on, and would put off OCS until I've gained a couple years experience in the Navy.
Alas, you'll all have to deal with me a bit longer, as I won't be leaving for bootcamp until October 30th, due to the lack of vacancies for my desired school.
Hooray for 6 more days till Cinci.
