I am sick of tired of being sick and tired of work... but I don't know what I can do to change things, so I guess I will just work through it and try not to have a nervous breakdown...

Last weekend was Little Sibs weekend and Robert's sister Grace (who is a junior in HS) stayed with me and I love her! If we went to school together, we would definitely be friends. She is so much fun... and I guess she really liked me (at least according to Robert)  - but I mean, she gave me a hug goodbye, and (I think their mom probably made her do this) but she also bought me something in the bookstore - I don't know what though. I think Robert is supposed to give it to me at some point.

Two weekends ago me, Robert, Jessie, Mike, and Laura had a roadtrip... it was so much fun! Ben was supposed to come too, but he ended up having to work (BOO!). So anyway on Friday we went to his house (because his dad picked us up - so we basically had to drop him off) and his triplet sisters (he is the third triplet) were both home, and so was Grace, of course, and they were having a St Patrick's day party. So we hung out for a little bit. A couple of times I saw myself being pointed out to people - that was kind of fun. A couple of Robert's friends were there and wanted to be introduced to me... and Laura and Mike and Jessie were all "hey, what about us..." After that we drove to my house and played outside for a while and visited the horses and wandered around in the snow and then went inside and Mike fell in love with the cat (again)... the next day my parents came up with a plan for the day - it was really funny - in the morning they said to me "Okay, we came up with a plan, you can say no if you want to" and it was awesome. My parents are amazing. We went to see the 8th floor of Marshall Fields (flowers) and it was really pretty - on the way there we stopped at the building at St Thomas where they have this cool artwork on the ceiling - so that was fun. On the way back we stopped at Target to see the cart escalator - 8 of us! It was great. Then we went to the Sculpture gardens and discovered that my father and I are twins. That was "way cool" as my dad says. Then we went to Robert's house and they went home - and that night we went to see this comedian, Jim Gaffigan, and that sucked - the seats were uncomfortable and I was falling asleep and it was his same act that we have seen on the DVD, except worse than usual, because it was his second show of the night, and afterwards we had to wait for Mike to go through the line and get his autograph. So that wasn't fun but it's Mike's obsession, so whatever. The next day Robert and I woke up earlier than everyone else (as usual) and made scones and Irish soda bread, so that was fun. He taught me how to knead the bread and then my loaf turned out way better than his. Then we climbed a tree and took some pictures and headed back to St Ben's. They took a cute picture of us in the tree - everyone says it looks like an engagement picture but I like it. It's my facebook picture right now, and I can't figure out how to put it on livejournal...

I saw Mama and Papa and Sarah last night - they had been at Crookston watching Clare ride. They just came for dinner. But walking around with my parents last weekend and them seeing them last night made me so sad that I am working here this summer instead of going home. And I think Papa really misses me... or else he is worried that I miss them, which I do, and I don't want to be away from home this summer!

Robert is trying to get an on-campus job this summer. Mostly because he wants to be near me, but partly because then he won't have to fight his 4 siblings plus parents for use of a car... that would make my summer more enjoyable, but I would still rather go home. And who knows if he will even get the job.

[sigh] homework, work, homework, work, sleep... [sigh]
