"Magdala Amygdala" wins Bram Stoker Award
The big news of the week is that my story "Magdala Amygdala" won a Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Short Fiction! The awards ceremony was held on June 15, 2013 at the historic Hotel Monteleone in the heart of the French Quarter in New Orleans.
"Magdala Amygdala" originally appeared in the anthology Dark Faith: Invocations and has been selected to appear in Ellen Datlow's Best Horror of the Year, Vol. 5. It will also be translated into Japanese for the magazine Night Land.
