(no subject)
wow summer is just flying by! I can hardly believe it. The next few weeks are going to be so busy for me, and then I will probably be bored out of my mind besides work for the last couple weeks before I go back to school. I have to work all next week, which is fine, Nate said he would take my Sunday shift but I might as well just work it since I have the whole following week off. boo. I work open to close tomorrow (thanks to Steve, who quit). great. and then opento close sunday w/ Mohammed as well. great. At least Rajesh will be there, though I'm starting to get annoyed with the immaturity of it all. He calls Lindsay constantly and asks her advice about what he should do/say to me and its gettin to be a little ridiculous. its like i'm dating Lindsay instead of Raj and I just feel like i'm in middle school all over again. he talks to Lindsay WAY more than he talks to me because he gets so damn nervous around me, which is cute and flattering and stuff, but its not going to build a relationship. oh well. Not to mention that we havent even really gone on a date yet. I feel bad because everytime he asks me I always have other plans. legitimate plans, i'm not blowing him off. but he feels like i am, so oh well. I think he will probably ask me to hang out Sunday night so we will see how that goes. I think it will be very awkward and uncomfortable, but who knows.
Things with Andy are good. great, in fact. no complaints. I can def. see that it might go further than just the summer, which is nice. my only worry is that hes not over Lauren yet (his ex). But I guess time will tell, and no commitments will be made until i'm sure that i'm not just a rebound. Been there, done that, and its not fun when you get all emotionally involved just to find out the other person just needed help getting over someone else.
Two weeks from today is Kelly and Matt's rehearsal dinner. crazyness. I have so much to do before then!! I have to get them a present, I have the 3 doors down concert next week, i have a bunch of scary dr appts next week (actually i think only one...) and the bachelorette party and then Ludington the following week. Also, matt and kelly and andy and I are going out Wednesday night I think. and Matt and Amy are coming home sometime next week as well... maybe Thursday? I'm not really sure. I'm pretty damn excited to see them though... and I know it means a lot to Kelly and Matt that they were able to take leave and come home from Iraq for the wedding. Kevin will also be showing up sometime in the next few weeks as well, which should be interesting. I still have to explain to Andy why he's not my date for the wedding and Kevin is...
This is a huge entry and I only started updating it because I was bored, maybe I hsould go do something a little more productive, like write my maid-of-honor speech.
