Phili Trip
Philadelphia...home of the phili cheese steak, philadelphia eagles, flyers, and phillies, and even the infamous staircase Rocky Balboa assended (sp?). and for the past weekend, it was home to us!
Friday: A bit late departing from White Plains since Mark Giranda shattered a window on our bus. Played for this dude who was part of the phili orchestra. The dome in which they play is enormous and just unbelievable. Cost? somewhere around $260 million. geez...
since we were late, we couldn't see the liberty bell, so we went to the hotel a bit earlier than scheduled.
brought my PS2 for DDR, but the tv did not allow the 3 cord thingy to work, aparently it needed an adapter that plugged in straight to the cable, like the old game systems. oh well.
during dinner, there was a big guy who told us that he had been in both world wars, played for the pirates and yankees, had 22 football scholarship offers, has a bullet in his foot, and that he eats in the shitty buffet that we ate at for 20 years (im surprised he is still alive..) everyone make a big fuss about it and called "bubba" God and stuff. pretty funny i think, but people made too much of a deal of it.w/e
lights of liberty show, which showed some history about ben franklin and the revolutionary war. kinda borin.
midnight bowling- pretty sweet wit DJ and neon lights. after a game, i played DDR there for 1 round, when i began no one was there, but when i finished a stage, i had a crowd of people watching me, which scared me and i almost fell, lol.
Saturday (most interesting day of the trip)
some small tour on the bus. I couldn't sleep the previous night, so i slept through the whole ride. woke up when we saw the art museum that was in the Rocky movie and this old church were this guy, who is a World History teacher that seemed like a prist, gave us some speech about the church and how it relates to our world today. boy, did he put lots of emotion and was really into it, surprised us all.
bourse shopping mall afterwards for lunch. cool stuff sold there, bought a t-shirt
museums- old prison, african museum, and medical museum
cruise party- music skipped and stopped randomly and DJ wasn't that good with his choice of music.i did the worm in the dance floor though :)
Night after party: this is where the action took place. lemme give u background information before i start so u won't get confused and can get the situation better
Room 432: room with Jacob herrmann and Justin Stuart (who brought DDR with the proper adapter so it worked in his room)
Room 205: My room, with Zvika, Jason K, and Dan Hood as my roomates
Room 203: Christian Mejia, jacob roby, Lincoln tahara, and jimmy Russel
Mr tonissen a.k.a T-Mac: band director of concert band who came on the trip.
I went swimming in the pool, where we played killed the carrier with a ball. Left to play DDR in Justin's room, but i saw Jacob Herrmann in the hallway cause he didn't like the noise and crowd of people in his room. I felt bad for him, so i told him to go in my room for some quiet and not be in the hallway, i figured this since Zvika was just talking on the phone in the room, Jason left and Dan was in Justin's room too for DDR. So Jacob left for my room. Bout half and hour into playing DDR, Jacob comes back to his room with a little smirk on his face and tells me that he pissed on my bed. I get pissed off and just asking jacob if he's serious and stuff like that, but i didn't really believe him, knowing his foolish character, so i continue playing DDR until the curfew was issued.
As i go in my room, im just about ready to sleep on my bed and watch some tv, but i feel something wet, and i start freaking out. At this moment, i was on the phone with Diana at like 1am and apparently i woke her up, and all she hears when she picks up is my tantrum i went around after Zvika for letting Jacob do that to my bed and just cursing at him, lol what were u thinkin diana..?. back to the story, i find out that Zvika actually got ina little fight with jacob and start throwing a cups at each other and an iced tea, and the iced tea opened up and went all over my bed. that's jsut his story, but i took no chance and decided on just sleeping on the floor and that would be it right? wrong!
on friday, Zvika stole chris's PS2 from his room and he still had it in our room, so i mention to Zvika after my tantrum if he's gonna return it to chris, so we do. We enter the room to see them just cuddled on in their beds playing with their Nintendo DS and seem kinda shocked that we have their PS2. Turns outs that they were chatting with their DS with the picture chat and just communicating through this and not talking at all. They could write stuff on the DS and even draw pictures, which was fun. Me and Zvika try it and just start writing things like Zvika sucks cock and Chris wants to fuck Dan and stuff. We didn't want the fun to end there so we took one of their DS's to our room to continue the conversation. Dan had one too, so we had 2 DS's in our room and so did they. They were right next door to us, 203, so it went well. A few minutes later, Mr. Tonissen comes into our room to check if everyone was in our room and just left. Dan then writes on the DS that Mr. Tonissen wants to fuck Lincoln. But he didn't know that Mr. Tonisson went next door to check on Chris's room and saw what Dan said and stormed right back into our room and gave the same tantrum, like i did to Zvika before, to Dan. He was so pissed off and then left saying that he'll be punished afterwards. After that dilemma, we went back to chatting on the DS and discussing what just happened. But then, a new user signs in to the chat named T-Mac and me and Dan quickly turn off our DS in fear that Tonissen was monitoring our discussion. Few minutes later, Lincoln knocks on our door saying that Mr. Tonissen wants to just be part of the conversation, so me and Dan turn our DS's back on. Dan just apologized to Tonissen and mentions if he could make it up to him. he mentions that he can by giving Lincoln a lap dance or he would call his parents. I immediately start crackin up, but at the same time confused, questioning if he could get fired for this, ironically, he said yes. Jsaon comes back to the room and finds out about the situation and he too is perplexed about this and asks a question to prove that he's the real Tonissen and he gets the question right so me and jason belived him. tonissen called Chris to get a photo as proof that dan did it. Dan then goes to the room and does it, with me and jason waiting at our door for tonissen to show up, but doesn't show when this occured. Dan comes back humiliated, but we continued our conversation and discover that T-Mac was actually jacob Roby acting as T-Mac and that this was all a prank. Soooooooo funny, and Dan was soo pissed, but not as pissed off as i was before. Talk about a freshman memory, that will surely be his.
Sunday: Went to Museum with lots of interaction activites and an IMAX theater with Walking on the Moon as the feature. Then went to South street for shopping, which was kinda dumb, excpet we went into a store called Condom Kingdom, which was pretty funny since they had lots of sex games and a glow in the dar condom.
So that was my trip. I liked Boston better through. next year we go to Washington DC, but im looking foward to Montreal during my senor year.
Today i stayed home, cause i was so tired. I was actually supposed to go to school late, but my mom didn't tell me what time to wake up, so i woke up at 12pm and just didn't go to school.
