Как раз размышлял (или думал, что размышлял) о "внутреннем молчании", и тут такая ссылка. Захотелось срочно приобрести ПСС Фодора. Не читали ли Вы его "Some reflections on L.S. Vygotsky's THOUGHT AND LANGUAGE"? Видимо, есть какие-то пересечения Ф. с "внутренней речью" последнего.

I never read Fodor on Vygotsky. In fact, I muchly prefer Fodor the polemicist to Fodor the philosopher. So it goes.
