I have had most of a Sammie Smith's Imperial Stout, over 24 hours on my own, no adult conversation since 10:30 this morning (and that was with Fritz! ZING!) so I am grasping at straws here and reaching out to teh intarwebs for comfort.
My world is good, but weird lately. Am no longer the lowest rung of the ladder at work, did a huge amount of work on the 5 different Dominion Power cases you will probably be hearing about in the news in the next few weeks/months and got big kudos for my efforts, and was contacted out of the blue by my half-brother, Steve, whom I am trying like hell to think of as my brother. It has been 16 years since I saw him last. It is strange but good, but still uncharted territory, so very very surreal and weird.
I am autocratting an event July 3-5 at Tom Scott Park. I am getting ready for Sapphire. I am knitting up a storm still. Gardening too. Dont forget parenting. Grace is incredible. If you havent seen her recently, you will be surprised how different she is. She has lots of hair now; she looks like a little kid and not a baby anymore. She has big feet; a size 6 shoe which is apparently very large for an 18-month old.
Life is good; challenging, but in a good way. I promise not to qualify that. Life is just plain good.
