Older yet none the wiser
So as Maria mentioned, I had my first legal drink at 12:02 this morning. I made the big, scary looking bouncer smirk. The bartender made me a great drink...vodka, Sprite, cranberry juice, coconut milk and rasberry puree. Really yummy. Went to celebrate my birthday and Maria's raise.
Had breakfast this morning with my girls at La Note, on Shattuck. If you havent been there, I highly recommend it. Effie and I split cinnamon brioche french toast with lavender honey and lemon gingerbread pancakes with poached pears and blueberries. I had a mimosa too! Anyway, Effie and I both ate from the plates and had enough to give leftovers to Ming and bring some home for me. Their lunches look good too. Try it. Oooh...and I now have hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries...again, thanks to the girls. Yum.
Hanging out with friends tonight at Becketts. For those coming or those who read this and I forgot to invite, 8pm tonight. Maria, Alex, Josh and I will be there at 8 to eat dinner so come join us early if you want food.
