I have saved somewhere a BSG ensemble vid set around Daybreak to this song, except to the Rufus Wainwright version, and it makes me howl when I watch it. I really wish I could remember who made it because I can't track it down again anywhere now, and the vid itself doesn't have a creator on it anywhere, which is sad. I'd love to be able to link people to it.

The Rufus Wainwright version is one of my favorite songs. I sometimes put it on repeat when I'm writing. Which probably explains a lot. :)

I've been a fan since practically the beginning (I pretended to like country music for her, lol). Unbelievable voice, and THIS SONG ... I end up feeling SO much.

That song ALWAYS makes me cry, though largely because of That One Episode I Always Say I Won't Watch But Then Do And Cry of The West Wing. (I'm still mad, Aaron.)

I think a double association with Raptor!Laura would kill me.

I don't see a video; am I broken? But regardless, k.d. lang's voice is fucking fabulous. She has such a pure sound. I love her to death (but then again if I didn't I'd get my pink membership card taken away).

Heee, I remember the first k d lang concert I went to ... I remember thinking there were an inordinate number of women there ... let's just say I was young and naive. Years later my sister took me to an Indigo Girls concert.... :D :P
