some really cool news
so amongst procrastinating, and receiving a better reaction then i thought from my father (after telling him about my $300+ speeding ticket)
i have received some really exciting news (mainly from my news feeds)
1. Deftones are coming to the dome theatre, in Niagara falls NY.... i have been to that venu before too, and its about the size of the Opera House, or maybe even the phoenix. which is awesome because tickets will be cheaper there, and its a smaller venue then lets say Arrow Hall (where they would probably play if they played a Toronto Date)..... i want to hear more details on that
2. Another Guitar Hero game!......... Guitar Hero 80's edition is slated to release sometime in the next few months for the PS2 actually..... which is so fucking awesome, because i am addicted to that friggin game its so awesome
3. i was in two of the school news papers for my event that i put on. The HSF Newswire, and the Humber Et Cetera..... i am actually interviewed for the newswire article..... (Thanks to Tory for that one:)) if you want copies of the articles i have them, i will prolly get them laminated and i am going to start a portfolio for the applied business project class i will have in my last year at GH
i cant wait till school is done for this semester.... actually i kinda want to be finished with school all together..... work for a few years, and save up/ pay off debts...... then travel...... by then it will be to Vancouver for the Olympics. i plan on Volunteering at the games while i still have a chance..... i figure that the next time they will be in Canada, i will be too old, or too deep into a career that i wont be able to take a month off to go do some volunteer work at the Olympics...... WHO IS WITH ME! (applications are submitted sometime in 2008 they say on the website)
fuck, even if i don't get the volunteer position, i want to go just to be apart of it and cheer my country on in hockey at least.
so i should have gotten a lot more studying/homework done then i actually did get done tonight..... i have so many assignments and bullshit to do because i left everything for after my event was over!
