(no subject)
so the Oilers have forced game 7....... im going to all stars tonight to watch the finale..... i have watched every game in this series..... there is a really cool bar downtown @ King and Bathurst called the Weat Sheaf... its the oldest bar in Toronto.... but its so awesome... 2 projector screens and a bunch of smaller tvs... excellent food at a moderate price, and the pints are well priced too.......... the best part about the whole thing is that no one that i dont like from high school goes there... they play rock music in between periods or when nothing is happening....
excellent place..... with cute waitresses that recognize me after being there once :D
in other news the new Lost Prophets album is out today..... i downloaded it, im still getting thru the first listen. but so far, its a little less HUMPFH then their last album
so i havnt updated for a while but last week on monday i was driving to school and was listening to the edge..... they said "call in now and tell me who is headlining the Family Values Tour this summer.... who is playing with Deftones, Stone Sour, flyleaf and Dir En Grey"......
so i said to myself "why the hell not" so i pick up my phone and dial the edge, the first 5 times it was busy and the 6ths time i tried it started to ring........ someone picked up and was like
"hi, the edge"
"did you give thoes korn tickets away yet"
"uhh, whats ur name?, your phone number?"
so i told him all the info
and he said
"congradulations you have won 2 tickets to family values tour on August 28th 2006, the tickets are not in the studio yet but when they arrive someone will call you and tell you to pick them up."
FUCKING SWEET DEAL EH?.
i have never won anything before..... especially from a radio station..... so unsure of what seats i won, i wanted to make sure i had floors to the show so i bought
digital_Blake and i a ticket each........ so all in all i will have 2 extra tickets to family values.... if my dad agrees to it, i will be a "chaperone" for my brother and a friend of his to his first real concert...... he has seen his friend's bands play in garages and stuff, but nothing compared to what this show is going to be like....
anyway, i have to get to class now.....
i have also figured out how to use the live journal cut and how to link to a friend's profile ....... thats kinda cool stuff i gues...........
