Jai Ho (Fanfiction ramblings - tl;dr, please)
Seriously, every pairing that I have ever shipped to the exclusion all other pairings in that particular fandom have had elements of reincarnation/destiny (Gabrielle/Xena, Arthur/Merlin, Kirk/Spock). I'm mentioning this because I just realized that you can find AMVs to the song "Jai Ho" for all 3 of my OTPs. Which is hilarious, and makes my recent YouTube faves look fabulously redundant.
Well, okay, all my OTPs are that sort of thing except for if a pairing is really really kinky, in which case it'll be my OTP regardless of its contribution to the universe, but I don't think my brief foray into the realm of Slade/Robin bears mentioning while I'm on the subject of epic romance. Tyvm.
So, er, why the pointless ramblings? I'm waiting for Megavideo to let me watch the rest of 3x12 of Merlin. Oh, my god, GWAAAAINE! More Gwaine. I love you, Writers of Merlin. That's 3 times he's shown up now. Can they please replace the Dragon with Gwaine on the Main Character roster next season? He's fantastic.
Also, oh gooods, when I saw Leon in the first scene I made this keening noise. If they hadn't... I'd've cried, I think. And his torrid love affair with Mary (second link makes more sense, first link explains the second link) being so new! 'Twould've been a sad, sad, sad state of affairs. As it is, Mr. Arrogant You-Know-Who's still not well yet. It's distressing. I'm going to go see if they'll let me see the rest now.
