The music is not entirely unbearable, I got some awesome-tastic gifts (bubbles, a yoyo that I can actually use because it requires no skill at all, Reese's, an anti-hand-pain-stick -- "salve" -- and, yay), I am exchanging much facebook cheer with she-who-shall-not-be-named-but-is-bloody-gorgeous-on-several-levels -- "Alexx" -- and apparently my bro is leaving the hermitage with his gf for Christmas. I'm pretty sure his girlfriend is the one who set up him coming for Christmas, actually. Normally it requires more persuading for him to attend family gatherings.
