Sarah Palin - Just Another Bubble Waiting to Burst
In this era of Wall Street devastation, it could fairly be said that Sarah Palin is just another bubble waiting to burst. If she does, and I believe she will, one can only hope she does so before November 4, rather than a few months into a four-year term. She would, after all, be a skin cell away from the presidency. Her running mate is a 72-year-old hothead with high blood pressure, and one who has also suffered four instances of the most serious form of skin cancer, malignant melanoma. Not to get overly morbid here, but it bears mentioning that McCain’s father died at 70, and his grandfather at 61-both of heart attacks.

....And as much as being able to see a country like Russia from your own shores is interesting and makes for an amusing anecdote, it hardly provides a window into how to handle the world’s second-largest superpower. My old office was next to the Bear Stearns building, but that doesn’t mean I understand the intricacies of subprime-mortgage bundling. (Come to think of it, neither did Bear Stearns.) I liked that bit in the brackets:)
