Good news / Bad news
The good news is that the spa I interviewed with in Fairfax decided to hire me to work weekends. Finally, more work.
The bad news is they want me to start this weekend, which means I can't help moiramisu (whom lj is claiming is not an lj user, which is wrong) set up for her Octoberfest party. Okay, depending on schedule I might not be able to get there at all but I am hoping that is not the case. Anyway, if you are free on Saturday, I know she would appreciate some help.
Mixed news - The pay rate at Jus Massage will be the least I have gotten for massage work. But I need regular hours and, in theory, the rate goes up after the 90 day review. Also the spa that is three miles from my house, hasn't made an offer yet. They open in a week or two, so I think one should be made soon (as they just sent their application last Friday). Not sure what to do if I a different offer as soon as I accept one. No point in stressing now, I'll figure something out if it happens.
