Just when I start wrapping my mind around sleeping in on Monday and what needs to be done while unemployed, the big boss asks if I will help trouble shoot for another group that leaves end of next month. And being a sucker, I agree.
Got the adjusted paperwork this morning, new departure date is 31-Oct. I have no idea how that will effect the job market but it gets me another couple of paychecks and means that family vacation won't happen a week after I start working a new job. I just wonder if I can keep focused and get some of the things done before I get laid off. Probably not since more shows that we record are starting their fall season, but I can hope.
