Awkwardness
I don't know why, but I always feel extremely uncomfortable at restaurants and cafes.The waiters and waitresses don't help by being extremely awkward as well. Or maybe they're not awkward and I'm just weird. Anyway, whenever I go out to dinner with my best friend, we always get mistaken for a lesbian couple or two desperate single ladies. It's actually getting sort of funny and it usually happens at Olive Garden for some reason. A few weeks ago we went there because I was seriously craving some Tiramisu and the waiter treated us like we were married throughout the whole dinner and then gave us one check without even asking if we wanted separate ones. And then he actually went to the table right next to us and asked the family sitting there if they wanted separate checks even though they were obviously an All-American nuclear family. Me and my friend were laughing all the way out the door.
And then we went again just yesterday and the first thing our waitress says to us is "Are you expecting someone else?" which was extremely odd since we were seated in single booths and there was no indication that we were waiting for someone. What, can't two girls go out to eat together without being mistaken for sadly single or gay? Although, I must admit, me and my friend do look quite good together, lol ;3
So I completely forgot about this, lol. I'm just going to pick back up where I left off.
Day 17 - Favorite movie based on a novel.
The 'Lord of the Rings' movies, especially the second one. They're some of the few movies that are actually pretty faithful to the books they're based on. Unlike certain series Harry Potter most of the good scenes aren't cut to heck.
