YEAR IN REVIEW. Not cutting this unless people want me to.
JANUARY:
FEBRUARY: Star Driver fandom, you are doing a good job of pissing me the fuck off.
MARCH: To all on my f-list who are playing Pokémon!
APRIL: There's this novel I've been working on for the past five and a half years.
MAY: The last couple of days were spent packing and moving my things to storage.

AUGUST: I am really sick of me flipping back and forth between "okay enough to function" and "useless bag of meat".

I hereby dub 2011 The Year of Breakdowns and Tiger & Bunny.
Because that's pretty much what the year was like for me in the second half, and I remember fuck-all about the first half except Star Driver.

Admit some things I'd been in denial about for 10 years, work at clinic, forge signatures, participate in RTP, troll an academic mailing list, stalk /a/, make quiche, get kissed.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I made secret ones. I didn't keep any of them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not that I can remember, but I've discovered that my initial reaction to people dying is to deny it ever happened or that person ever existed.
5. What countries did you visit?
...Holy fuck, I actually did not leave the US at all this year.
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Goals? Dreams? Directions for where I want to go in life?
7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
None.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Probably apping into CFUD, sad as it may sound.
9. What was your biggest failure?

Video games.

My friends. I should celebrate their existence every single day because that is how much I fucking love them for putting up with me and caring about me.

SO MUCH FATTER. Sob, I think I'm the fattest I've ever been.

I feel poorer, even though I actually made money this year.

Being depressed and having breakdowns.

I developed a crush on someone I probably shouldn't have, but other than that, nope! I still love all of my friends for being my friends, though.

No.

Sunshine. I'd never thought I'd like vampire fiction until I read it. orz

Friendship, antics, not being a complete and total failure at normal people interaction.

The Adolescence of Utena. I saw it this year, so it counts.

Played Radiant Historia and was stressed and depressed. Considering that I did not get a bucket of water thrown at me or spend it alone in the dark while stressed and depressed, this year's birthday was a vast improvement over my last two.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not...breaking down?
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Clothes. I have to wear them.
34. What kept you sane?
My friends. Even the ones that I don't talk to much or know that well. Guys, I love you so much, and I really don't know how I would be or even if I would be alive right now if it weren't for you. Thank you so much. You have no idea what just even knowing you means to me.

I don't do that. Having an actress for a mother tends to ruin that.

Running from your problems, denying they exist, and forgetting bad things won't make them go away. Sometimes you have to just face them head on, suffer, and fight.
But you don't have to be alone. There are people in the world who care and love you, and it hurts them when you reject their love because you don't think you deserve it.
