Bitch gotta go.

Right.. so this is friends locked for obvious reasons. Most of which include me not wanting the individual in question to accidently stumble across this and think. Not that she will. I don't think she thinks much farther beyond the tip of her nose than most shallow-stuck-up-spoiled little girls... but then again.. who am I to wonder?

Said person in question CURRENTLY works with me. Said person decided about a month ago that she did not want to work Sundays.. after stating during her hiring process that her schedule was flexible. Said person came in today.. after trying to get a different said person to work for her incessantly yesterday (dewd, she called the pharmacy three times... and we were busy.). Said person 2 did not want to work for said person 1.. so said person 2 had manager on duty tell her that said person 2 cannot get overtime for flippant reasons.

Said person 1 wanted to go to a concert today.

Said person 1 decided this YESTERDAY.

We have an entire scheduling system... IN THE COMPUTER AT WORK... so that you can actually SCHEDULE days off. Said person 1 never bothers doing so.. because said person 1 does not want to be bothered.

So SP1 comes in 20 minutes late today. The moment she walks in the door she emanates attitude. BAD attitude.. like rotten fish attitude. SP1 starts bitching about Walgreens not paying overtime.. and Pharmacist on duty very patiently explains to her that Walgreens does not pay overtime just because she decides she does not want to work on days she is scheduled. After this point yours truly is more than a little peeved that she is A) REALLY late for her shift without calling to let us know she would be, and B) is miffed because yours truly already had to work with new guy... and he is a peice of work let me tell ya.

So Pharmacist on duty takes SP1 back to the scheduling wall.. and they talk modestly while yours truly straightens up, and fills scripts, and talks to customers, and listens to New Boy open his mouth wider.

Yours truly gets tired of said mess. Requests to go to lunch. Request granted..

Yay! 30 minutes of reprieve from the situation.

Yours truly returns from lunch.. SP1 has done things (SHOCK). Pharmacist on duty has made her get off her non-existant ass and do something. She is still fuming. So pharmacist on duty tells her to just go. She leaves. She is happy. What she doesn't know... is he let her leave.. because she was counter productive, NOT because she wanted to go.

New boy then whines because he has to stay. He whines all the way up to the end of his shift... 6PM... This was... annoying.

He then moans about his predicament because he is only scheduled for 18 hours next week.... BUT HE WANTS TO LEAVE EARLY TODAY?!

All in all.. SP1 worked a total of 1 hour today. New Boy worked his entire shift. I worked my shift and SP1's shift.. which ended an hour later than mine. We got slammed at around 6:30PM. Thank god everything was already done.

All in all.. I think SP1 doesn't deserve her job, much less to go to class to get her national liscense this summer. I also think New Boy is going to drive me nuts.. but I am trying to be nice and open minded.

Thank god for Pharmacist on Duty. I think I would have lost my mind today.. I am also a little bonkers because I didn't really sleep last night.... and I'm PMSing.

Though I don't think I'm wrong on these feelings.

Oh yeah.. and we have another problem child that returned last week... but hopefully now that she has had surgery, it will be better.

I'm going to pull all my hair out.
