So tired...
PGCE has taken its toll and I feel permanently shattered. Was really glad to be leaving Baverstock school (my first placement) but have no idea where my second with be, have been told 2 different places that have fallen thru and am past caring now. Really just want to get this course over and done with!

Christmas was nice, Yolanda stayed at ours Christmas eve and day. Boxing day saw most of the family at ours. Cooking for 12 in a kitchen the size of a shoebox is no fun! Got loads of fab presents, lots of perfume, books, cd's and dvd's and bought myself a present or two... might have bought a black 26" Samsung LCD TV for my room, was expensive but got a really good deal on the internet.
So I have a week left before I have to go back to the hell that is the PGCE I plan to stay in bed, watch dvd's on my new tv. Do some painting and read through some of the ever mounting stack of books by my bed.
Relaxation is a key work. Also must get eyes tested. have been meaning to do that since last summer!
Yet another replacement phone is coming making it the 4th Nokia N70 I have had since April. Awful phone, just riddled with faults. Has stopped letting me put the phone down after a call and you have to remove the battery, because that isn't stupid and annoying at all!
Next year will be tiring for the first half but really looking forward to getting a few solid weeks of studio time in July, going away in August with Lisa and Jules (at the moment the plan is to visit New York and Cuba but not sure if funds will stretch to Cuba may go to do the Dominican Republic instead... is all good!) I'm really looking forward to working on things that actually interest and excite me! Lisa's ex-Joe has some work lined up for me on a small independent film at the end of summer, I also have a commission and a book full of projects to try and a few contacts to pursue. I say this every year but I'd really like to make 2007 count!
