SNAFU
The term SNAFU was coined in WWII but seems to still apply today.
A portion of my CG's USAFR unit was deployed overseas a few months ago. (My airman did not get deployed) Unfortunately they do not have their equipment. It is sitting on pallets awaiting delivery but it keeps getting bumped by higher priority equipment. The airmen are using their personal computers to get some work done but they are largely idle.
Yep, Situation Normal All F**ked Up.
That must be very frustrating for everyone involved.
Ironically one of the airman sitting idle wants an extension on his self-training as he has not completed it! No doubt too much playing of Warcraft.
