Watchmen
01. The first character I fell in love with: Adrian Veidt. I thought the way he told off a room full of executives and then took out an assassin was awesome. And he has a genetically engineered lynx. And a lair in Antarctica. And then he has the nerve to say, "I'm not a comic book villain." How cool is that?
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: I did not like Dan at first. I thought he was a pushover and kind of annoying, but he grew on me.
03.The character everyone else loves that I don't: Rorschach. I thought his journal was melodramatic. And he broke into Dan's house and ate his beans. That wasn't very nice.
04.The character I love that everyone else hates: ermmm... I don't think there's anyone in Watchmen who's universally hated.
05.The character I used to love but don't any longer: ermmmmm.... can't think of anyone.
06. The character I would shag anytime: David Bowie aaaaaah says he counts, so he counts.
07.The character I'd want to be like: Adrian Veidt. I would like to live in a secret lair in Antarctica with a genetically engineered lynx that loves me unconditionally.
08. The character I'd slap: That kid at the newsstand. He didn't pay for his comic. Hurm.
09. A pairing that I love: Dan/Adrian
10. A pairing that I hate: Dr. Manhattan/Anyone.. I think it kind of misses the point of Dr. Manhattan

12. My five least favorite characters: The newsstand keeper, the kid reading the comic at the newsstand, that woman who frequents the newsstand, her girlfriend, Dr. Manhattan

14. My deep, dark fandom secret: I liked the movie more than the graphic novel. And looking over my answers to the other questions, I think I might have completely missed the point of Watchmen.
Shakespeare
01. The first character I fell in love with: Romeo. Because reading his lines in grade 10 English class was so much fun.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. Didn't have any feelings about them before I saw Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, now they're my favourite characters in Hamlet... thanks, Tom Stoppard. :)
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Mercutio. He had no business getting into that fight. And look at all the trouble that caused.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Benvolio. Everyone thinks he's boring, but I think he's got some pretty good lines and he was one of the only characters that didn't want to go around fighting everyone he met. I respect that.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Friar Lawrence.. What a terrible plan. :(
06. The character I would shag anytime: Saturninus.. but that's probably just because of how he was portrayed in the movie. I do like Alan Cumming.
07. The character I'd want to be like: Viola.
08. The character I'd slap: Gertrude. You're trying to figure out why your son is depressed? WHY DO YOU THINK?
09. A pairing that I love: Toby Belch/Maria
10. A pairing that I hate: Helena/Demetrius Helena's awesome and he only likes her because he's enchanted! She deserves better. :(

01. The first character I fell in love with: Pippin. I was thirteen and I related to him.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Samwise Gamgee
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Legolas... I don't dislike him, I just don't find him all that interesting.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Boromir.. do people hate Boromir? I don't
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: My love for LoTR characters is constant.
06. The character I would shag anytime: Galadriel, but I think she's kind of out of my league. :P
07. The character I'd want to be like: Tom Bombadil
08. The character I'd slap: Denethor.
09. A pairing that I love: Smeagol/Ring
10. A pairing that I hate: Aragorn/Arwen... it's based on nothing! Nothing!
